At Universal Studios in Hollywood, you’ll find your favorite movies playing on the big screen. You can also watch special events such as live musical performances and stand-up comedy.
On select nights, you can even see a movie under the stars — complete with an outdoor bar!
This year, be prepared for a very fun experience by visiting the parks early before they get crowded. Also remember to eat breakfast there, because this is when the park opens and things usually start slowing down later.

Santa Ana
Located along the Pacific Ocean, this city is home to numerous tourist attractions, including an International Amphitheatre and a Performing Arts Center.
The OC Fair every September brings in visitors from all over the world. It’s size makes it one of the largest agricultural shows in North America.
There are also several museums and cultural centers, including the City of Los Angeles Museum of Art and the Smith River National Wildlife Refuge. There are also many outdoor activities such as horseback riding, surfing, and biking.
If you’re looking for entertainment, there’s lots to do in Santa Ana. You can go shopping at the Marketplace or visit some of the city’s parks, like El Toro Park or Rose Garden Greenbelt.
You can also go to the beach, play soccer or volleyball, or grab something to eat at One Love Cafe.
Downtown Los Angeles
If you’re visiting from outside of Southern California, or if you simply prefer to explore cities over towns, downtown LA is a fantastic day trip option.
It’s easy to get to via public transit, with buses directly connecting the bus station in downtown LA to the city center. Once there, you can easily spend hours exploring this amazing area.
If you opt for a walking tour, don’t forget your water bottle! Although it may seem like everyone is carrying a coffee cup or soda bottle, it’s actually very hot down here in the summer. Check out some of these cool tours that take you to different parts of town.
Whether you arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon, shopping isn’t really anyone’s favorite thing. But stop by Beverly Hills at one of those famous malls – they are all worth seeing to admire the beautiful shops and brands. And be sure to try their delicious food too!
Orange County Zoo
The zoo is open every day of the year, including holidays. There are lots of activities scheduled all the time. If you’re looking for a wildlife experience with an educational element, this is it.
The animals are free to roam around their natural habitat, which includes tropical and subtropical gardens and forests.
There are also indoor areas where you can find a variety of species, from birds and fish to exotic pets like tigers and penguins.
If you want something fun and unique for your family visit, they have special programs that are themed around seasonal changes and events, such as Halloween.
They also have projects where volunteers help provide food and assistance to the animal population. You can participate in these opportunities by becoming a volunteer.
Irvine Spectrum
Located at 13250 La Valencia, this shopping center is located in the north of Costa Mesa. It features over 150 stores including Apple, Best Buy, Circuit City, Old Navy, Pet Smart, Staples, and Wal-Mart.
This place is huge! Built in 2008, it covers more than 130000 square feet and has over 10 floors. There are many places to go and things to see here.
There are several rides you can ride to get around the mall. If you’re into sports, there are games you can play or tickets you can buy for some games later on.
If you like comics and movies, there are multiple shops where you can find something that will make your time pass. This place also has a large food court and lots of seating for people who just want to relax.
Overall, this is one of the most popular places to visit in Orange County. With dozens of restaurants, plenty of parking, and cool stuff everywhere, it never feels like too much money to spend here.
The lines are always long at the movie theaters, but we still enjoy going because everything is so cheap. You really don’t need a reason to be at the theater other then wanting to experience it.
Some things are free such as their concerts and live music tours. They are usually short which means you get to hear less good songs. But they are easy ways to have fun while doing nothing
Knott’s Berry Farm
If you ever go to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, be sure to check out their attractions. You can choose from four different theme parks, two adventure parks, one children’s park, and three shopping areas.
They have many rides including roller coasters, water slides, and even a small zoo with pigs, cows, and horses. They also have an amusement arcade filled with classic games such as bowling, shuffleboard, and ping pong.
There are so many things to do at Knott’s that it is hard to list them all! And for those who enjoy food and entertainment, there are also concerts often where they bring famous singers from around the world to entertain everyone.
Ventura County Fair
The fair is held in late September in downtown Ventura. It has several attractions, including foods from around the world, performances by local groups and musicians, rides, kids activities and more. Tickets are required for some events.
Visitors can buy tickets to attend events such as the World Food Festival or South American Music Fest. Others can purchase tickets to ride the roller coasters at the event or experience the excitement of the Wild West.
The event lasts for ten days and brings thousands of people to this city across Southern CA. During that time there are concerts every night, competitions all week long and always something happening at the venue.
